This week I have been a big ol' sap, and today I'm toppling over the edge. Today marks one year since our Sweet Note Bakery Philadelphia Inquirer article went out. I can't believe it's already been one. whole. year. Time freaking flies.
I could honestly go on and on about the women that I work with and the dream that we are pursing, but I'm going to keep it short. Essentially, what today made me realize was how much potential I have as an individual and how much life has in store. Sweet Note gives me the opportunity to do what I love every single day. It gives me a sense of belonging. It gives me a sense of empowerment. It gives me the chance to learn about more and more about myself.
Sweet Note shows me that we're doing more than baking and selling gluten-free bagels. We're bringing
families together. We're feeding hungry people. We're building a foundation that others can also grow from.
This year had been filled with challenges, hiccups, and failures, but this year has also been filled with rewards, advances, and successes. I've learned about myself through every single situation. I wouldn't be the stronger, more positive, and driven person that I am today if it wasn't for Sweet Note. I become more and more grateful for my career and the people I am surrounded by each and every day.
All things considered, the focus of this post is not Sweet Note Bakery. Rather, it's this: be yourself. If I wasn't myself and I wasn't proud of the person that I am, I wouldn't have discovered what it's like to love what you do and never work a day in your life. I wouldn't know the ladies that I know. I wouldn't have the new-found family that I have. I wouldn't be the person that I am today. And of course, I wouldn't have Sweet Note. When you are yourself, you attract similar people. You attract positive situations. You attract a life that you are meant to live. I found my purpose in life... to live happy. I encourage everyone out there to find their passions and practice them daily. You will smile more. You will love more. You will live more.
You Will Find Pure Happiness in All That You Do
Cheers to living life to the fullest. Cheers to the weekend, friends. ❤
