If you saw Tuesday's post, then you know that I celebrated a birthday this week!
This year's celebration was, without a doubt, one of the best that I have ever had. I got to spend time
with all of the incredible people in my life, and that's all that I could ever wish for at the end of the day.
This year, however, I shared my birthday with more people than I ever have. Between family
and friends, there were so many summer celebrations! Thanks to Hallmark, I was 110% prepared
with little surprises for everyone. Today I wanted to share a 'sweet' treat I gave to Michelle, my fellow
#crazybagellady, for her birthday. Bagel-lovers and foodies alike will truly appreciate this post. 😊
I started with a card. Instead of going after a traditional, cheesy "Happy Birthday" one, I
checked out the limited time Buzz-Worthy cards that are now available at Walmart. There were
too many cards to choose from, so I chose a few that I thought were most relevant.
I grabbed this card first because we've been doing quite the amount of
lounging on on the weekends and soaking up the summer sun.
As the lounging lessens and the summer fades, our friendship
will still last. This card, of course, was definitely girlfriend-approved.
And I have to admit, I did miss Michelle's actual Birthday because she was away and because
her gift did not arrive in the mail on-time. This card was also a must-buy. You have to laugh it off.
In case you're wondering what I gift I got her in addition to the cards, I got these freaking adorable everything bagel earrings! They have little red jewels. They have cream cheese. They have cute little everything seeds on them. How cute? You can bet your booty I got a pair for myself too.
After I wrapped up my gift for Michelle, I moved on to the two cards that I also picked out for
Alison, my other #crazybagellady, who is also one of my best girlfriends. Although she did not celebrate a
birthday, she did deserved the card for laughing's sake. They had her name written all over them.
Ali loves animals. Ali loves the summer sun.
But she loves cheese and wine more. I couldn't pass these cards up.
Thanks to Hallmark, Walmart, and the #collectivebias crew, I was able to do a little
something special and give back to the people who are always giving to me. I don't know
about you, but I think it's a damn good feeling.
Cheers to Thursday. Cheers to all of the other summer babies out there!
