As I mentioned in last Sunday's post, I plan to dedicate every Friday to my weekly Sweet Note Bakery endeavors! Although I didn't get a chance to document every cafe I stepped into this week, I still have a lot of things that I hope you all enjoy!
This week was my first week without my partner, Michelle, so my mind was a bit scattered (had a serious case of the nerves). I was so worried about forgetting something or approaching a cafe incorrectly. I promise to deliver better next week!
I ventured into the city on Monday and Thursday. Monday was my first day alone, and guess what? It was a success! I adapted surprisingly quick to marketing and such on my own. Although I was once so intimidated by the whole process, I learned that I'm only speaking to other people. It's not like I'm speaking to the President of the United States, after all! I can only mess up so badly. Once that idea clicked, I put my confidence cap on and realized that things weren't so bad after all.
I was rockin' and rollin'!
I stopped by many other places such as the Green Eggs Cafe, Cafe V, and Toast as well, but like I said- I was so focused on my selling game plan that documenting completely slipped my mind! The atmospheres in each place were rather enjoyable and the owners and managers were all very welcoming, nonetheless. 'Selling in the City' (see what I did there?) went very well!
Now onto the production part of this week!
On Tuesday morning, Michelle and I hiked up to our bakery for some good ol' bagel baking.
Aren't they beautiful?
All in all, it was another fabulous week with Sweet Note. I honestly fall more and more in love with my job every day.
Before I go, I just wanted to leave you all with one more thing: my Tropical Oats recipe! I know that I promised to deliver it Thursday, but unfortunately my new perspective prevailed. I hope you all enjoy!
