TGIF! Does anyone else agree that it's been one hell of a week? It certainly has been on my end.
Guess what? I'm going to the beach today! This calls for a **happy dance!** Ryan and I decided to take advantage of a free Friday AND Saturday and stay overnight at the Jersey shore. We both haven't taken a trip since last summer, so it's certainly going to be a nice little getaway. Unfortunately, I will not be posting Saturday morning due to WiFi issues down there, so I'm going to use this as an opportunity to "unplug" again. I will be back in action on Sunday with all kinds of vacay details for you! Until then, check out my week with Sweet Note!
On my Days in the City:
I paid a visit to many, many cafes and restaurants!
Some, but not all, of the places that I went to were Cafe Cret, Hubbub Coffee, and Pumpkin Market!
I saw some really beautiful sights.
I enjoyed some tasty treats both at home and on-the-go!
I got witty text messages from my dad.
He's notorious for finding random, yet hilarious things during work. Because his name is Bud (and because he's bald *cough cough*), he and his coworkers thought it was ironic that they found this sign. Needless to say, he now goes by the name Buddy Baldwin.
And finally, I experienced some serious hair frizz.
On my Days in the Bakery:
I channeled my inner gym-buff.
It gets hot in the kitchen so I was sure to stay hydrated! Do you think an entire gallon of water is sufficient?
I resisted mounds and mounds of delectable Cinnamon-Raisin dough...
and settled for more cooked foods instead.
I got caught in action.
Our machine tends to get a bit backed up when working with the Cinnamon-Raisin dough because of its sticky consistency. I tried to come to the rescue, but only ended up with a blob of sticky dough on my hand. They call me Brittany Bagelhands.
Sweet Note's newest partners this week:
Yep, that's right. I was able to get my home university to begin providing our bagels on-campus! How cool is that? I'm super stoked to see where our gluten-free products will appear in the future. We are dreaming big, despite all of the silly bakery pictures and casual cafe shots. Our Sweet Note Bakery team is truly working hard. I'm so proud of how far we have come over the past month. I love you guys!

How did you end your work week on a 'sweet note?'
What's on your agenda for the weekend?
