It's Friday the 13th (BOO!), but I think it's safe to say that we'll all be juuuuust fine as along as we avoid black cats, do not walk under ladders, and try our hardest not to open an umbrella indoors. Think you guys can handle that? It's been a bit since I jumped in on Clare's link-up, so I figured it was time to do so. FriYAY!
1. Cozy Spaces
I'm still putting the pieces together at my new place, but I get cozier and cozier every single day. I was honestly a little nervous to be completely on my own (sometimes we don't know how well we will actually adjust- mentally, emotionally, financially), but I'm glad that I decided to take the leap. I am more grateful every day for little moments like these. For me, it's genuinely fulfilling.
2. Quest Nutrition
Quest, you've outdone yourself again. I was really skeptical at first, but later impressed by the flavor of the sour cream and onion chips. You know... I expected an artificial taste. Sometimes foods are just too good to be true!
3. Valentine's Day
I'm looking forward to this Valentine's Day. A hot yoga class, time with girlfriends, and yummy food is always a good idea.
4. Bob's Red Mill
Bob's Red Mill coconut flour, almond flour, and rolled oats are a staple in my kitchen! I love to make mugcakes and sweet treats using them. Also, I'm beginning to experiement with more #paleo dishes. It's fun to see how much you can do with wholesome, natural, unprocessed ingredients!
5. Good Days, Bad Days
Good days. Bad days. I experience them both. Sometimes I feel strong. Sometimes I feel weak. They're things and feelings that are inevitable. Yesterday I felt weak, but today I felt back to my normal, strong, happy self. I can't express enough how important it is to surround yourself with positive things and surround yourself with people who bring out your best side. I become more and more thankful for the people in my life every damn day. They make me stronger. They push me further. They keep me confident in my abilities and certain that I can bet on myself every single day.
