Lots and lots going on this past week, so I thought I'd share five little highlights.
From tacos to workouts, it's allllll there! Cheers to a great, relaxing weekend, everyone. ♥︎
1. New Recipes
Lindsay @ Cotter Crunch posted a few new recipes for easy, no-bake meals and Texas Tacos!
Although I haven't made them quite yet, I can already tell that Lindsay's recipes are simple, quick,
and filled with flavor based on the ingredients. The woman definitely knows her stuff! Ever since
I visited Boston in March and ate at Papagayo, I have had a serious craving for
fish tacos. You can bet your booty I'm getting my cook on this weekend!
2. Sweet Note Bagel Craze
We've had an influx of bagel snapshots on various Sweet Note social media
handles. It's so cool to really see our brand come together and see all of the great feedback
coming from customers all over the coast! I'm glad that Sarah @ Baking 911 found us.
I also like the way she rolls with the cream cheese. :-)
3. My First Large Purchase
I put my big girl pants on this week and purchased my first car! When I lost my dad, I
also lost the car that I had since I was 16, so I had to go on the hunt for something reliable, efficient, and
Brittany-friendly! Needless to say, I found this little Sweet Note Red '09 Ford Focus.
It's a symbol of my first leap into the real world.
4. A Kick-Ass Workout
I switched up workouts a bit this week and included a day of straight Plyometrics.
From box jumps to burpees and pushups to kettle bell swings, I was sure to include it all.
It always feels fantastic to get your heart bumpin'. Workout as follows:
5. A Happy Spirit
It's hard to keep all negative thoughts out. It's hard to be a perfect human and only surround
yourself with the positive. Unfavorable situations are inevitable. They're going to happen. That's life.
However, I'm learning more and more each day that it's simply a matter of how you approach
things. It's all about the mindset. You may not know how things are going to work out, but you
must know and firmly believe that they will. Good things happen to good people. Karma is
always in your favor. Do not forget it.
