If you know Clare, then you know how she rolls on Fridays. I thought I'd
join her this week and do a "Five Things Friday" post! Let's get down to it, shall we?
QuestBars weave their way into many, many, MANY of my posts. They have been a friend
and snack staple since I discovered them three years ago. Recently, however, I have been having
stomach issues when it comes to dairy, so having one of their bars, which is made of of whey, hurts
my stomach quite a bit. Although I have to limit them now, I still sneak one every once in a blue
moon. I only have one serving of dairy a day (usually in the form of Greek yogurt or cottage
cheese), and sometimes Quest steals that spotlight.
2. Bucket Lists
Lindsay @ Cotter Crunch inspired me to make a "bucket list." Last week, she discovered her list of
"Things to Do in [her] Future Life," and shared some of the things on it. From general goals to personal
goals, she wrote them all down. The best part? Lindsay completed nearly all of them. It was truly inspiring.
A few years from now, I too want to be able to look back and confidently say that I did it all. I am a firm
believer that thoughts become things. I'm sure that I have a master list of life goals somewhere in my high school notes, and I'm sure I'll discover it someday, but for now I'd like to write another one and put the
goals and life-long aspirations onto paper now. Instead of putting it away and saving it for myself to
discover in the future, I am going to hang it so I see it every day. That will, without a doubt, push me to accomplish them every single day.
Ever since I committed to new workouts and committed to push myself outside of my
gym comfort zone, I have seen tremendous growth, both physically and mentally. I go the extra mile.
I do the extra rep. I embrace the exercises that are sometimes unfavorable (yeah I'm taking to you,
burpees). My decision to commit was the best thing that I have done for my body.
Side note: great workout here.
4. Boho Pants
We all have those clothes or styles that we "wish we could pull off." For me, it's boho pants.
They're so freaking cute! I was on Pinterest this week and I stumbled across this combo. I think
it's time for me to push those little self-conscious fears aside and buy a stinkin' pair.
5. Gluten-Free Bagels
Our baby bagels looked fabulous this week. I thought they deserved a shout out!
If you have a moment, check out our new flavor announcement this morning.
Something tells me that fall 2014 will be SWEET!
Cheers to the weekend, friends!
What's one thing that you "wish you could pull off?" What's your favorite fall flavor?
