If you know Clare @ Fitting it All in, then you know how she rolls on Fridays. I thought I'd join her this
week and do a "Five Things Friday" post! It's been a few weeks. Let's get down to it, shall we?
1. Food Education
I'm making a greater effort to educate myself on food. As much as I strive to maintain a plant-based diet, I know that GMO-laden foods hinder the effort. I am on a budget, but I know that a little research and self-education can keep grocery costs down. Organic foods can be extremely pricey, after all. Anyway, I'm glad to see that many of the veggies and fruits that I consume on a daily basis are already considered a part of the "clean fifteen." Thank goodness for sweet potatoes.
I'm learning more and more every day to do more of what makes me happy and less of everything
that doesn't. Life's too shorty to be distracted or drained by the irrelevant. On most days, my happiness stems from my work as a #crazybagellady, fitness, and food. And I'm okay with that.
3. Pumpkin Spice
So far I have spotted Dunkin' and Starbucks release their pumpkin line.
I am on the prowl for more. Did I ever tell you how much I love fall?
If this is wrong, then I don't want to be right.
I am striving my absolute best to make time for all the things that are worthwhile. From family to friends and
hobbies to education, I am trying to find a healthy balance between it all. It's freaking hard, but I know
it will certainly pay off in the long-run. Prioritize what is most important to YOU!
Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend, US friends!
Do you have favorite veggie or fruit in the "clean fifteen?"
