It's that Time Again...
TGI freakin' F!
Holy holy was this week full of (very great) craziness. Ugh, bring on the weekend.
I'm thrilled to finally share my Natural Products Expo East recap with you all. As I noted in a previous post, I paid a visit to Baltimore, Maryland with Sweet Note Bakery. My business partner, Michelle, and I represented our company at Expo East which was a huge convention that features every category in the natural and organic products industry. Essentially, it was a phenomenal opportunity to travel, work, network, and attend various workshops. Expo East was Sweet Note Bakery's chance to get in front of the international market! Anyway, enough of my yip-yap. Take a tour down Expo East lane for yourself!
We hit the road around 5:30 AM. The ride was beautiful!
Although the ride was beautiful, I was so happy once we got to the hotel. I become Ms. Antsy Pants if I'm in the car for more than two hours at a time. Man, was I ready for some coffee.
Coffee? Check! Sweet Note Bakery red lipstick? Check! We were so ready for the day.
We even had the time for a hearty breakfast too.
Our first day there consisted of many, many workshops and such. The actual expo (AKA the part where we get sample all of the delicious treats), didn't start until the following morning. Until then, we networked, learned much, and enjoyed the post-workshop weather!
Fortunately, Michelle is a total foodie too, so we were sure to explore Batimore's food scene. After our long day, we dined at a place called and Ale Wife enjoyed the night life!
Of course, dining with fellow foodies presents some problems: we couldn't decide on what we wanted to eat! Michelle and I decided to order a few different things from the menu and split everything. Oh. My. Goodness. I was in heaven! If you're even in Baltimore, I highly recommend this place.
They even had the cutest mason jars for mugs!
And Now for the Moment We have all Been Waiting for...
Following our day of learning and night of dining, the Expo finally kicked off. Let the games begin!
Needless to say, I didn't even know where to begin.
We just let go of the reigns and dived in!
We even had the opportunity to meet and get a photo with Bob from Bob's Red Mill! I swear, he's like the Santa Clause of the foodie world. We even got a complimentary, signed cookbook too!
And Finally, The Delectable and Adorable All-Natural, High-Protein Twiggy's Cupcakes
Of course, there were so, so many other vendors there, but if I sat here and showed every single picture that I snapped, we would be here for DAYS! I hope everyone enjoyed the Expo East recap. To all of my foodie friends involved in the natural food industry on the West Coast, I know that Expo is coming to YOU too! I highly recommend checking it out!
Have a fabulous weekend, friends <3
