As you all know, yesterday marked the start of August. Cheers to making it 8 months into 2013 (still unreal to me)! The new year is going to be here before we know it. Would you believe that my mom is already Christmas shopping? I guess now you know where I get my crazy lady tendencies from. Anyway, with a new month comes new goals and new progress to be made! I figured I'd share a few of my goals with you.
As my marathon approaches, I have to increase running mileage and maintain my workout drive. The Philadelphia Marathon is exactly 106 days, 17 hours, and 44 minutes away... but who's counting? My big day will be here before I know it!
Yes I wore the same shorts to the gym two days in a row. Judge me!
As much as I'd like to say that this is going to be an easy goal to achieve, it is not. I sometimes struggle with the idea of eating more, but I know that it's going to be an integral part of my training. The more mileage I do, the more fuel I'm going to need. I'm determined to push my fears aside and stay true to my body!
I guess adding more of these meals don't sound too bad after all. *drool*
Juggling training, running a business (Sweet Note Bakery), planning for school, and living life in general is a lot for one girl to take on. I'm doing it, nonetheless! My goal to remain on top of the game and remain focused for the rest of August... and the rest of the year for that matter! Keeping up with the momentum is key!
And of course, the most important thing is to remain happy. Without a clear, positive mind, things can become a much greater struggle. Fortunately, I am surrounded by the greatest family and friends who make happiness an easy thing to achieve. I thank goodness for them every day!
August marks the start of a greater, healthier endeavor! I'm wishing everyone well as we kick off a new month!
