While this week is off to a great start, I caught a little bug. My sinuses are going cray. Although I did manage to squeeze a run in this morning (my muscles are hella sore after yesterday's workout... needed a shakeout), I'm going to knock out a quick client meeting, then I'm scheduling a hot date with my bed. The beauty of working from home.
Anyway, from recipes to DIY ideas, I admittedly got caught in Pinterestland this week.

November, let's rock.
What are some of your goals this month?
Helloooo, Halloween! While I don't have plans to trick-or-treat tonight, I did participate in the holiday - totally got up this morning, hopped into my Waldo (er, Wenda) gear, and took a Crossfit UCity class. If you're a Philly local, I recommend this box. Awesome atmosphere. Great people.
It's been a while since I did a Marvelous in my Monday, so I'm going to jump in on
Katie's linkup! All of the hopping and jumping today.
Kate Spade (was way overdue for a new purse)
Pure Genius Brownies (topped with SunButter)
Living from my Heart, always
Have a safe and Happy Halloween, friends! Head on over to Katie's page to see the rest of today's marvelousness.
If you haven't heard of Eataly, then do yourself a favor and get acquainted with it. It's basically heaven on Earth - total foodie playground. I want to share this picture and ultimately call myself out on it. Did I get a slice of pizza? No. Because I admittedly still struggle to "let loose" when it comes to my eating habits. Did I want a slice of pizza? Absofreakinglutely. But I know I would have felt guilty. So I denied myself a piece. In retrospect, I wish I got the damn pizza. I mean, c'mon. Look at it.
Needless to say, I'm working diligently on eating more intuitively. If I want the slice of pizza, I want to get it. If I'm offered a piece of cake, I want to say YES. Because it won't kill me. And because I work my booty off.
Although I'm 60% there (see Instagram), I'm not 100%. It's all a work in progress.
2. The Rocky Balboa Run
I entered my very first 10-mile race. The more I get involved with the Philly running community, the more I fall in love with the sport, but also fall in love with the mindset and challenge of it.
T minus 14 days, 22 hours, and 2 minutes until showtime. Let's rock(y).

4. Remaining Focused
While I was away in Chicago, someone told me the importance of kicking negative thoughts to the curb, maintaining a regular routine, and moving forward with nothing but pure aggression. We all have the power to do anything we put our mind to. We all have the power to become whomever we want to become. It's all a matter of surrounding yourself with the right resources, right people, and right energies. Grab your cup of get shit done (sorry, cappuccino). Don't quit.
5. While in your 20s
If there's one thing I've learned in my 20s, it's that time is invaluable and it passes in the blink of an eye. In turn, I've become more and more selfish with it, and I recommend everyone else does the same. I want to invest it in things that nourish me - time with myself, relationships, experiences, opportunities. I want to make sure that I endlessly put myself first (because I failed to do so in the past). When you put yourself first, you become a happier soul, and life becomes 10 times more beautiful. Cliché, but true. Check out this article by Levo. I couldn't agree more.
Cheers to Friday!
