As you all know, I absolutely, wholeheartedly love blogging. I always try to express how much I honor and have grown to love the HLB community.
A few things have crossed my mind this week, and I want to let you in on them. With that being said, it's nothing serious, but I do want be 110% honest with everyone. Over this past week, I realized that I'm not dedicating as much time as I would like to reading other blogs. Between juggling work with Sweet Note, summer classes, personal relationships, and daily duties, it's simply impossible unless I want to stay up all hours on-end. A girl needs her rest!
Nonetheless, I'm not complaining at all about the amount of work that I tackle each day. I sincerely love what I do, and as said in my many previous posts, "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." I guess what I am complaining about is the fact that I don't get a chance to sit down, read all of the lovely posts that everyone works so hard on, and fully engage with the HLB community. As much as I value my own blog, I value others' as well. After all, without the community, I wouldn't have half of the motivation, the inspiration, and the dedication that I have today.
The Moral of Today's Post:
I want to dedicate a few Saturdays every month to step back from my own blog and give myself the leisure of catching up with everyone, given that I haven't gotten a chance to that week. Some weeks are calmer than others, and sometimes I do get to sit down for an hour and just "hang" with you guys!
I just wanted to let you all in on my thoughts. I wanted to stress that I truly value and appreciate all that you do! Have a great, relaxing Saturday!
Do you dedicate as much time as you would like to when it comes to reading other blogs?
