Good morning, fit-friends and family! Before I dive into my vacation recap, I must to stay loyal to Neely @ A Complete Waste of Makeup and participate in her usual Sunday link-up!
This Week's Questions:
1. What is your biggest driving pet peeve?
When people don't use turn signals! I mean c'mon, people! How hard is it to move your pinky and flick a switch?
2. Biggest Blogging pet peeve?
Hmm, I honestly haven't developed one yet!
3. Biggest general pet peeve?
I guess make this question driving pet peeve #2: when people drive without the radio on! There is nothing worse than utter silence. Does anyone else agree?
4. What is your most irrational fear?
That a boogeyman still hides in my closet. Yes, I'm being serious. I've seen one too many horror flicks!
5. 3 celebrities you’d want to have dinner with?
Michael Buble, Justin Timberlake, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, no doubt.
Thanks for hosting, Neely!
Now onto my Recap!
Let me just begin by telling you that our miniature getaway was just what Ryan and I both needed! It was so nice to just kick back and live carefree for a day. Sometimes a day of pure relaxation is the key to relieving any worry or stress. I certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a breather.
We got down there pretty late Friday night due to traffic, so we decided to hang in and (im)patiently anticipate our Saturday afternoon. Nonetheless, I woke up early the next morning, took advantage of the perfect weather, and went out on my first-ever beach run! It felt so nice to be out with so many other runners.
Following my three mile-ish run, I grabbed Ryan, my bathing suit, and my overnight oats- I was so ready for some fun in the sun. ☼
Let the Beach Pictures Begin!
We stopped to get a bite to eat at a boardwalk restaurant.
Pizza for him and a breakfast omelet (spinach and feta, if you're wondering) for me!
So that wraps up my trip! I wish I was able to post more pictures for you all to see, but I resisted taking my phone out around the sand. Those little granules are such devils to get out of nooks and crannies! Ryan and I are both looking like lobsters currently (despite the fact that I applied SPF 50 on the both of us multiple times), but hopefully that clears up in no time! We're off to do the Color Me Rad 5k this morning! We've got our crazy clothes on! We're ready to get RAD!
PS. I want to wish a very warm Happy Father's Day to the greatest father a girl could ever wish for. I love you, Daddo. <3
