We made it through March. I can't believe it's already April (#alliterationwin #hadto). It's going to be an interesting month. The 15th marks one full year since my dad passed, which hits a little hard, but I've come to a few realizations as of late that will undoubtedly help me pull through the day. These realizations created feelings that I cannot describe. They're not sad. They're not happy. They're not depressed. They're not elated. They're a combination of all that overwhelm me with a sense of chaos, but also overwhelm me a sense of peace. These feelings are some that I have never felt before, but I welcome them. I'm happy to simply feel again. The numbness that I experienced this past year was the most painful thing. I have another post that I want to dedicate entirely to this past year and to my dad, but I'll wait a bit longer to do so. I need to hash out my thoughts a little more. I have more than I want at the moment. ☺︎
