The more and more I blog, the more and more I network with other, absolutely wonderful and influential, bloggers. Some are college students just like me. Some are graduates who are out discovering their purpose in life. Some are parents who are settling with a beautiful family and raising a new generation of dreamers of their own. No matter what stage of life everyone is in, however, I'm realizing that we all share one thing in common: a genuine drive.
We have the drive to motivate all who surround us. From complete strangers to close loved ones, we strive to make each day better for all.
We have the drive to show that we truly value and appreciate all that everyone does- even the little things. One of my girlfriends from AU, for example, constantly supports me. She took my DIY technique and made a fitness t-shirt of her own! It makes me feel great knowing that my efforts can help someone else!
We have the drive to share our passion for a healthy living with all. Whether we share it by providing something such as a tangible recipe or something such as an intangible thought, we constantly spread the optimism to all.
I personally love this little "thought."
We have the drive to start activities that everyone can enjoy and engage in. I hope you have all seen my MIMM posts and WIAW posts. Those are only two of many blogger link-ups out there. We find ways to bring everyone together and bond over our passion and common interests.
We even have the drive to create little awards that welcome new bloggers, such as me, into the blogging world! This past Tuesday, I received a surprise nomination from new fit-friend, Bethany, over at Mangoes and Miles. This award may be a small deal to some, but for a new blogger like me, this might as well be my Golden Globe! Seriously, how awesome is that?
But most importantly, we have the drive to look for the positive in everyone. We point out the beautiful (and handsome) things that all make us who we are. No one is flawless, but we all look past the flaws to acknowledge and appreciate what every single person brings to the table. We all make each other feel comfortable in our own skin, and that's all that matters.
Me and my cousin, Reese, AKA "Mini-Me"
I have always been a happy kid, but this year introduced so many fabulous things that I never even anticipated. Today, I am stronger than I have ever been, both physically and mentally, because of the people who I constantly engage and surround myself with. I am happier than I have ever been, and I know my family and friends are as well.
Check outthis site for some great motivation. It's one of my particular favorites.
Every single day, I am growing as an individual because I have the drive to be a member of the "Fit Fam."
We are all working together to be FitFluential and motivated. It's truly a wonderful thing.
Why did you start blogging?
What's your "drive?" What motivates you every day?
