Recipe Tuesday is Back!
Yes, I said sammiches.
I think it's safe to say that we all channel our inner child here and there.
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, then you already know what's heading your way today.
If not, however, then you're in for a spicy surprise.
May I introduce you to my friend, Cholula?
I have always been a hot sauce kind of gal, but I have never been a Cholula hot sauce kind of gal.
Man, have I been missing out.
Anyway, I was absolutely craving a lunch with a little kick to it this past Sunday.
I was also craving something simple and sandwich-like.
The result? A Toasted Buffalo Chicken Blue!
Check it out and taste it for yourself.
If you're a hot sauce-lovin', sandwich eatin', warm meal cravin' fool...
then this should be right up your alley. :)
Toasted Buffalo Chicken Blue
By: Freckled Nettles
Prep Time: 3-4 Minutes
Cook Time: 3-4 Minutes
Directions: In a small bowl, fold shredded chicken breast, hot sauce, seasoning, and yogurt together. Next, take sandwich bread, then assemble by lay down a bed of spinach and topping it with the buffalo chicken mixture as well as the cheeses. Finally, top your sandwich with the other piece of bread. Grease pan with a non-stick spray or butter and bring to a medium heat. Toast the sandwich as you would a grilled cheese. When browned, flip it onto plate, top with any additional condiments, and pair with your favorite beverage. This baby has a spice to it! Enjoy.
Happy Tuesday, friends!
What's your favorite way to enjoy hot sauce?
PS. I'm totally guilty of putting hot sauce on my popcorn. Am I the only one?
